Lines 836-1,250

Siegmund: Is a character who is read from a poem at the feast, Siegmund was a warrior just like Beowulf, and he is a good guy.
Finn: Is the bad guy in the poem who killed her whole family.
Hermod: Was a bad king for his king for his kingdom, but an excellent warrior.
Hrothulf: Is the nephew of Hrothgar and was adopted by him once his parents died.

The monster is dead. Everyone is celebrating and seeing the remains of Grendel, and Beowulf is still receiving tones of gifts. Welthow is congratulating Beowuf as he sits between her and her two sons.

Lines 371-835 Part 2

Edgetho: Beowulf's father
Higlac: Beowulf's uncle
Unferth: Teases Beowulf for his bravery.
Brecca: Was a friend to Beowulf when they were children.
Welthow: Hrothgar's wife.

First Beowulf and his soldiers go to meet the king, the king thanks them for coming, after their feast Beowulf kills Grendal. To show everyone the Grendel is dead, Beowulf takes Grendel's arm and hangs it up.

Part 1 Lines 1-370

New characters:
Beowulf; protagonist
Hrothgar; The king that requested help, from Beowulf.
Grendel; The monster who attacked Hrothgar palace for twelve years.
Wulfgar; He is the king's herold.

Grendel wanted no sound going on what so ever. Whenever any of Hrothgar's soldiers would arrive for duty, they'd be making a riot so Grendel would attack then kill them. Beowulf heard about Hrothgar's problem, and decided to give him a helping hand. Beowulf took off with fourteen of his bravest soldiers, and sailed for the attack of Grendel. When the arose on shore to Hrothger's palace, there was a guard waiting a shore and Beowulf told him that they were there to defeat Grendel.
